Terms & Conditions

These terms cover the RevolutionRP website and game server. By signing in or connecting to the server, you agree to them. If you don't, don't use either.

Who can use this

You need a Steam account in good standing. If you are under 13 — or under the minimum age for digital consent where you live, which is up to 16 in parts of the EU — you may not create an account. [Set the minimum age you actually intend to enforce.]

Your account

• Your account is yours alone. Don't share it, sell it, or let someone else play on it.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. “My friend was on my PC” is not a defence against a ban.
• Access depends on Steam. If you lose your Steam account, you lose access here, and we cannot transfer progress to a new one.

Conduct

The server rules form part of these terms and are enforced alongside them. Beyond those, you must not:

• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. Roleplay is not a shield for this — an in-character excuse for out-of-character abuse is still abuse.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, or modify the client to gain an advantage.
• Attack the infrastructure — no DDoS, no attempting to gain access you weren't granted, no automated scraping of the site.
• Evade a ban by making a new account or using someone else's.
• Post anything illegal, or anything you have no right to post.

Content you post

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it here you give us a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute it on the site and in our community channels, for as long as it remains posted.

Don't post content you don't hold the rights to. We can remove anything that breaks these terms or the rules, without notice.

Moderation and enforcement

Staff may issue warnings, remove content, restrict access, or ban an account. We aim to be proportionate and to explain decisions, but we run a private community and access is at our discretion.

If you think a decision was wrong, appeal it through the channels listed on the site rather than by making another account.

Donations and purchases

[If you take donations or sell anything — priority queue, cosmetics, supporter roles — describe here what a payment does and does not entitle someone to, and set out your refund position. UK and EU consumers have statutory cancellation rights for digital purchases that a “no refunds” line does not override. Delete this section if you never take money.]

Availability

This is a hobbyist community server. It may go down, lose data, or shut down permanently, with or without warning. Nothing here is offered with any guarantee of uptime, and in-game progress may be reset if we have to.

Liability

The site and server are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of them. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ending your access

You can stop at any time and request deletion from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms or the rules.

Not affiliated

RevolutionRP is an independent community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, Cfx.re, or Valve.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use the site or server after a change means you accept the updated version, and the date at the top reflects the current one.

Governing law
